Dorrette Prince

This is so, so, so exciting. I attended St. Catherine High 1974-1979. Those were some of the most precious days of my life. I used to travel from country on the big country bus. Whether it was jumping the fence to go over by Ms. Beech's shop to buy bread and butter for lunch or trying to escape from the junior department to go to the senior school. I also remember practicing in the glee club with Mr. Neal and going by JBC recording studio to rehearse and record. Sometimes it was singing for the festival. Oh yeah! He's A Lilly Of The Valley, O My Lord; Swing Low Sweet Charriot; The Lord's My Shepherd; the Christmas Carols - Ding Dong Merrily On High; City Side Walk, Busy Side Walk... Sharon Baugh and Jennifer walters were there. We were sure to get our gold medals. Mrs. Mills in her mini skirt and spike heel; Ms. Ross in the Home Ec. Centre; Mrs. Grant and Ms. Lynch in the needle work room.Mr. Smikle, Mr. Forrester, Mr. Samuels.

Yes. Catherine has really helped me to be the person I am today. Living, working and studying in washington DC is not a bed of roses, but I can truly say that I am what I am today because of all those people from St. Catherine High who have touched my life in so many ways.
