 Kenneth F. Cyrus, President (Class of 79)   

 Kenneth is an Accountant and is co-owner of GBC Financial Solutions, Inc (gbcfs.com) a company founded in 2007 with two St. Catherine High School colleagues. Kenneth has recently returned to school to pursue a Bachelor in Mathematics, that will enable him to teach Mathematics and Accounting to Middle and High School Students. Prior to migrating to the United States, Mr. Cyrus worked for the Ministry of Education, in the office of the Principal at the St. Catherine High School, as a Clerical Assistant II from 1981 to 1986.  

 

Wilbert Davis, Director/Chairman, (Class of 76)   

Mr. Davis served in the Jamaica Constabulary Force for over nine (9) years, seven (7) of which were spent at the Jamaica Police Academy both as an instructor in laws and police duties and as assistant transportation manager.  After migrating to the United States of America in 1986, Mr. Davis attended and graduated from the John Jay College of Criminal Justice of the City University of New York with a Bachelor of Arts degree.  Mr. Davis believes in serving his community and helping others.  He is a past member of Community Board 15 in Flatbush, Brooklyn, New York.  Mr. Davis is currently employed as a senior legal assistant at the law firm of Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP in New York.   

 

 Garfield Willis, Esq., Director/Legal Advisor, (Class of 88)   

He attended Baruch College and obtained a BBA degree in Finance and Investment.  He subsequently worked for two years at TDAmeritrade and Citigroup in the securities area after obtaining the series 7 and 63 licenses.  In 2001, he graduated from Pace University School of Law with a Juris Doctor degree and was admitted to New York State bar in 2002.  Since then, he has worked as an attorney for a small personal injury firm and later the New York City Commission on Human Rights handling discrimination cases.  He also taught business law and ethics at the Metropolitan College of NY and  paralegal studies course at Manhattan Community College.  In 2006, he became a compliance officer for New York Life Insurance Company.  Currently works as an Administrative Law Judge for the State of New York. He volunteers at the New York City Bar Association offering legal counsel to clients.  He enjoys jogging, music and traveling.   

 Sonia Haylett, Director /Finance(Class of 73)   

 Ms. Haylett  migrated to the United States in 1975 where she later matriculated at the Long Island University and graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree in Accounting.  She has worked as a bank auditor and accountant for most of her career.  She has been active in children’s ministry for most of her life.  She has served as a board member of Child Evangelism Fellowship for the last three years.  Presently Miss Haylett is a substitute teacher with the New York City Department of Education   

 

 Juliet Henry-Ebanks, Director/Scholarship (Class of 88)   

 Mrs. Henry-Ebanks taught at St. Catherine Preparatory School for 3 years, while attending Mico Teachers College where she earned a certificate in Primary Education. She later served in the Jamaica Constabulary Force for 8 1/2 years.  While serving in the Jamaica Constabulary Force, she was stationed in the parish of Manchester, Southern Division, where she was in charge of female and juvenile issues.  Mrs. Henry-Ebanks migrated to the United States of America in 2001, where she pursued a career as a Certified Nursing Assistant and is currently employed in that field in New York.  She is also an active member of the Church of Christ in the Bronx, New York where she is currently engaged in outreach ministry.   

 

 Deon Noble, Director/Fundraising (Class of 82)   

 Mr. Noble migrated to the USA in December of 1984 and has since lived in New York.  After migrating to the United States of America in 1984, Mr. Noble attended and graduated from Long Island College Hospital School of Nursing and is currently employed as a nurse at New York Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn.  

  

Brian Roper, Director /Membership(Class of 83)   

 Mr. Roper graduated from the College of Agriculture, Jamaica West Indies, where he obtained an Associates Degree in Agriculture.  Mr. Roper is the owner of Ferngully Plantscape Ltd., In New York.   

Donalee Thomas, Secretary/Treasurer (Class of 83)   

 Donalee Thomas graduated form Queensborough Community College, New York with an Associates Degree and presently works as an Office Administrator for a physician in Hollis New York. 

 

Gilant Phillips, Assistant Treasurer (Class of 88)   

 Ms. Phillips attended Dowling College from which she graduated with a Bachelor of  Business Administration, in Accounting.  Over the years, Ms. Phillips has worked in the private sector in various management and junior management positions.  Ms. Phillips currently works for a CPA firm in Queens, New York.  Ms. Phillips is an avid runner and to date she has completed two New York City marathons and ran many half marathons throughout the five boroughs of New York City
