Janice Savoury
My name is Janice Savoury. I attended SCHS 1988 – 1993. I was one of those girls who did not give trouble but got into a lot of trouble, some might say it was company. I don’t know. I remember getting suspended from school twice and telling my mother so every morning I would leave out and go to school.
I remember on one occasion I was told by Ms. Panton the Guidance Counsellor then to bring an adult to school with me, other wise I would not be able to attend class, so I went on the street of St Johns Road searching for someone to represent me. I was lucky because the following day my big brother came to school with me (I am the eldest of three).
I remember teachers like Ms. Searchwell, Ms Wint. Ms Daubon. Mr. Neale. Ms Oliver (I use to hate sitting in the front of her class). Mr. Headley, I see him from time to time when him come by my work place and yes I do remember Teeth and Gum.
Then there was Douglas Golding, Peta Gaye Mitchelle, Delia Hamilton, Omar Peynado, Deborah Mitchelle, Samantha Whitehorne and Ray McCalla.
